Loan Expedition Equipment
We have the following equipment available to to borrow:
- 2 & 3 man tents
- 2 & 3 man stoves with fuel bottle. You need to purchase the fuel. methylated spirits (approx 1/4 litre per stove per day)
- Rucksacks various sizes including rain cover
- We also provide the maps, map cases and compasses
A deposit of £25 is required from everyone borrowing any kit (cheque ‘Westhill Open Award Group) returnable when kit back CLEAN, DRY AND COMPLETE at the next meeting ready for teams going out that weekend.
Personal & Group Equipment
Participants are required to source or buy their own personal equipment for the expedition and this is documented in the Expedition Kit List. There are also some items which not all members need to carry but the group should have one between them and so who is acquiring and carrying these items should be agreed by the team.
